Intro to Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+

Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+ is also based on Broadcom BCM2837B0 processor as in Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. It is a 64 bit qua d core chip runs at 1.4 GHz. In additions to a fast processor this module also come with three different memory sizes to suit different industrial projects. It is available in 8GB, 16 GB and 32GB variants.

The Compute Module 3+ is cheaper than the average Pi and can be operated in wide temperature ranges. Standard USB power and Ethernet have been removed to fit the module in this form factor .

Raspberry Pi Compute Module3+ Lite

Raspberry Pi Compute Module3+ Lite is ideal for rapid development. This module makes it easier to design and develop a system on Module (SoM). Engineers can focus on their own IO interface and application software rather than dealing with the complex interface of the BCM2837B0 processor

• Broadcom BCM2837B0, Cortex-A53 64-bit SoC @ 1.2GHz
• Memory: 8 Gbytes, 16 Gbytes, 32 Gbytes eMMC Flash or None.
• Multimedia: H.264, MPEG-4 decode (1080p30), H.264 encode (1080p30), OpenGL ES 1.1, 2.0 graphics
• SD card supported: The CM3+ Lite brings the SD card interface to the module pins so a user can connect this to either an eMMC or SD card.
• 35u hard gold-plated IO Pins
• Operating temperature: -20° to +70°C
